I like his work as it is always quite mind blowing. 
I remember seeing his work at Tate Modern turbine hall 
many years ago, occupying the whole space 
with a gigantic horn. I shouted into one side of the horn
and my friend stood on the other side to hear me. 

I was so disappointed when I missed his exhibition at
Royal Academy of Art two years ago by a day!
So I thought I didn't want to miss it again and 
went to see it when the sun was out.

Journey of Discovery....

I went to Birkbeck College where I did my Masters

about three years ago for a small public lecture

about nothing related to what I do but just out of curiosity.

I went with a friend who is studying paper conservation 

who would have a totally different take to the lecture.

Discovering David Livingstone's forgotten diary from 1870-3.

Yes, it was interesting how they use high technology to 

capture the original transcript but his life seems equally fascinating.

The college entrance has changed and I couldn't recognised it. 

It bought back memorise of late nights in the library and frustrations

of making little progress with essays and readings. 

I can do another Masters but not another Undergraduate in the UK. 

Undergraduate is so demanding and intense!

St. Christopher's Hospice

I had a training this morning as a End of Life Care lead for my team.

A memorial tree, each leaf has a person's name
or a short message who stayed and died at the hospice.
It has a modern and warm feeling to it.

Found it by surprise behind Peckham,

a very quirky French Chocolate shop.

Popped in for a hot chocolate to kill time

before my next visit....and it really helped as
it was a long and hard visit but a very interesting man
with lots of life stories.
