Prom 75

Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610

Monteverdi Choir
London Oratory Junior Choir
Schola cantorum of the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School
His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts
English Baroque Soloists
is a group of virtuoso wind players who specialise
in playing Renaissance and Baroque music
in historically appropriate styles on original instruments.

Sir John Eliot Gardiner- Conductor
It was more moving and interesting than I imagined.
The choirs were just amazing and so moving.
It was my first time to listen to live Baroque music but
I really enjoyed it!

The End

It was the last night of Prom at RAH so,
of course it was extremely busy.
I was really worried that I might not get a ticket!
Maybe it was good after all that few of my friends couldn't make it.
I can't have left one behind and gone in, can I?
Maybe I might have done that...? :)

 Yes, it's BBC PROMS
It's recorded every night!

I remember coming to PROM last year tonight.
Yoyo Ma was playing and it was much colder,
I remember in the distance that we all had to wear a coat
that night, but was warmer tonight.
A year goes very quickly!

Good Bye Proms 2010
See you next year!

  1. Just by looking at the scale of the stadium/stage, I can tell that the choir and the music was awesome!

  2. Yes, you're right. Royal Albert Hall is massive! It's a round shape so the acoustic is excellent as well. It was a briliant night!
