'Baby P' was all over the media for the last few months
as well as the talks about social workers in the UK.
Whenever an inquiry takes place there are tons of
suggestions on what social workers should do etc.
Suggestions and policy implementation will work when
there are resources to support it.

'Dame you didn't! Dame you did!' has become a
catch phrase for social worker at least in the UK.
But I believe that I am proud of what I am doing!
영국에서의 사회복지사들이 매스컴에
등장을 할 때는 항상 사건이 터졌을 때다.
아동, 노인들이 사회복사가 있는데
사망했을 시에는 모든 질책이 사회복시자에게 돌아간다.
최근에 18개월 된 Baby P 가 아동학대로 사망했다.
간부급들이 옷을 벗었다.
물론 그렇다고 죽은 아이가 돌아오지는 않는다.
하지만 적어도 사회복사들의 업무에 관해서는
질적인 향상을 위해 고심한다.
때로는 더 많은 절차와 서류작업이 될 수도 있다.
영국에서 사회복지사를 일축하는 구절이 있다
해도 원망 안해도 원망
적어도 난 내가 하는 일이 자랑스럽고 좋다!
